Having spent his career in financial management and investments, Ted Seides is a decision-making professional. He has devoted the latter part of his career to sharing what he’s learned with others.
He started Capital Allocators LLC in 2016 to explore best practices in the asset management industry, then a year later, launched the Capital Allocators podcast to highlight insights and advice from the world’s top professional investors. Within four years, his podcast amassed 5 million downloads. In addition to authoring two investment books, So You Want to Start a Hedge Fund: Lessons for Managers and Allocators and Capital Allocators: How the World’s Elite Money Managers Lead and Invest, Ted has founded one investment firm and served as chief investment officer of another.
Ted is a Trustee and member of the investment committee at the Wenner-Gren Foundation, an active participant in the Hero’s Journey Foundation, and a Decade Rider of Cycle for Survival. He previously served as a Trustee and head of the Programming Committee for the Greenwich Roundtable and as a Board member of Citizen Schools-New York.
Ted holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA, Cum Laude, from Yale University. He also is a CFAⓇ charterholder.
