Cat Purvines

Cat Purvines is the Community and Partnerships Senior Manager for the Alliance for Decision Education. She brings nearly 20 years of experience in higher education with a focus on relationship management.

Prior to joining the Alliance, she worked as a Partnership Director with Pearson Online Learning Services, where she managed a portfolio of online degree and certificate programs for her partner university. In previous roles, Cat has served as an administrator on several university campuses and a leadership development expert for fraternal organizations. She has traveled across the country facilitating leadership programs and workshops to college students and volunteers.

She holds an Ed.M. in Policy, Planning, & Administration, with an emphasis in Higher Education from Boston University, and a B.A. in Political Science from William Paterson University.

Cat lives in New Jersey with her husband, Steve, and her son, Roman. When she isn’t working, she loves reading, trying new recipes, and making new memories with her family and friends at concerts and sporting events.
