Angie Thompson

Angela Thompson is the Copy Editing Manager for the Alliance for Decision Education. She brings years of experience editing, writing, and teaching composition, with a history of success in the publishing industry.

Prior to joining the Alliance, she worked as an editorial lead for ProQuest, where she managed multiple editions of CultureGrams―a leading reference database of cultural information on countries of the world. She also worked as lead editor for the Church Historian’s Press, where she edited one the nation’s top historical papers projects as well as the diaries and journals of prominent nineteenth-century American social, political, and religious leaders.

She holds an M.A. in English, with an emphasis in Victorian literature, and a B.S. in human development from Brigham Young University.

Angela has lived in multiple states and countries. When she isn’t working, she loves traveling with her family, reading and collecting books, watching baseball and K-dramas, and going on rambles with her German Shorthaired Pointer, Sodapop.
