Activity 1 (45 Minutes)

  • Using the worksheet  provided, students go through their own five step process to see what types of options are out there for them.
  • Be sure students are researching multiple different options and not just one choice

Activity 2  (45 Minutes)

Discussion (10 Minutes)

  • Facilitate a group discussion where students can share their findings and insights. Encourage them to discuss what they learned about the different careers and how their personal preferences influence their choices.

Reflect (10 minutes):

Journal Entry

  • Choose one career option you researched that aligns with your interests and strengths.
  • Outline the steps you need to take in high school (courses, extracurricular activities, internships) to pursue that career.
  • Identify resources or individuals (teachers, counselors, professionals) who can support you in your journey.
