Recapping the Event
On Thursday, October 27, 2022, the Alliance held our first Virtual Poker Tournament hosted by Annie Duke, Alliance co-founder, World Series of Poker Champion, and best-selling author. Annie was joined by an exciting lineup of special guest appearances, including best-selling author and professional poker player Maria Konnikova, NFL General Managers Andrew Berry and Les Snead, and World Chess Champion Garry Kasparov.
The event welcomed 126 players and raised a total of $400,000 to advance our national movement to ensure that Decision Education is part of every student’s learning experience.
