Jinsol Lee

Deputy Director of Research

Jinsol Lee is the Deputy Director of Research at the Alliance for Decision Education, with expertise in student cognitive and socioemotional development.

Jinsol has years of experience in leading complex research projects to generate valuable knowledge and evidence, including designing, collecting, testing, measuring, and reporting wide varieties of data. She utilizes multiple qualitative and quantitative methods to understand student outcomes. Jinsol also has worked with collaborators in implementing learning programs, teaching and training diverse populations, and sharing knowledge for social impact. She has a passion for promoting meaningful student learning and growth from a holistic perspective.

She holds a Ph.D. in Human Development and Quantitative Methods from University of Pennsylvania; a M.Ed. in Human Development and Psychology from Harvard University; and a B.A. in Psychology and Education from Mount Holyoke College.

In her spare time, she loves running, reading, playing board games, serving youth at her local church, and enjoying Philly life.
