Sean joined NYL Ventures, the corporate venture capital unit of New York Life Insurance Company, in 2016 and leads a team responsible for sourcing strategically relevant startups for introduction, proof of concept testing, and partnership development with New York Life’s various business units and corporate functions. Prior to NYL Ventures, Sean spent seven years with Eagle Strategies LLC, New York Life’s wholly owned Registered Investment Advisor, where he held a variety of roles including Corporate Vice President and Head of Operations & Service.
Sean earned a B.A. from Emory University, where he was an all-conference member of the golf team, and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School. In 2019, he was named as one of the 100 Global Corporate Venturing Rising Stars. He also holds the Series 7, 24, and 66 registrations from FINRA. A Seattle native, Sean and his wife, Kasey, now live in Fairfield, CT with their four children and dog, Olive.
