Sarah Smirnoff

Sarah is the Director of Education at the Alliance for Decision Education. A strategic leader with over 20 years of experience creating new business opportunities and products for mission-driven organizations, Sarah is passionate about understanding the needs and challenges of students and teachers in order to inform the design and implementation of educational products.

Before joining the Alliance for Decision Education, Sarah was Co-Executive Director of the Scratch Foundation and the Executive Director of New Product Development for ETS. Her previous experience includes leading teams to test new product concepts for the K-12 classroom, higher education institutions, and learning in the workforce. Sarah has also held product and leadership positions at educational organizations such as Learning Ally, Amplify Learning, and New Visions for Public Schools.

Sarah loves learning to play musical instruments (she just started learning the mandolin), doing crossword puzzles, eating new foods, reading, exercising, and spending time with friends and family.
