Reggie Browne is a Principal at GTS, where he leads strategy, vision, and client engagement for the firm’s customer business in partnership with Mischler Financial. With more than 30 years of experience in equities and equity derivatives market making, he is widely recognized as a pioneer of the industry and is often referred to as the “godfather of ETFs.”
He began his career in 1997 at the American Stock Exchange and has since held senior leadership roles at Cantor Fitzgerald, NewEdge USA, Susquehanna International Group, and O’Connor Associates, playing a significant role in the growth of the U.S. ETF marketplace and advising asset managers on bringing innovative investment products to market.
Reggie is also deeply committed to education and the arts. He serves as Vice-Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and as Vice Chair of Silver Art Projects. He has previously served as a trustee of the New York City Boy Scouts and La Salle University, where he developed the LEAP program to expand access to college credits for high school students.
A Philadelphia native and Eagle Scout, he holds a B.S. in Business Administration from La Salle University. He and his wife, Dr. Aliya Frances Browne are avid collectors of African American art and the parents of four children.
