Michael Walker, Ed.D.

Executive and Leadership Coach, Dynamic Decisions Coaching

By making decision-making visible and teachable, we prepare students not only for academic success but also for navigating uncertainty, complexity, and consequence throughout their lives. Decision Education, therefore, is not an add-on; it is foundational to preparing students for the demands of the real world.

Michael Walker, Ed.D. brings over 30 years of leadership experience in independent and international schools, with a deep understanding of mission-driven organizations and the complexities of educational leadership. He has served as a teacher, coach, division head, and head of school, giving him a systems-level perspective on how decisions shape organizational outcomes.

Dr. Walker holds a doctorate in the neuroscience of decision-making and is a certified executive coach through the Berkeley Executive Coaching Institute. Through his practice, Dynamic Decisions Coaching, he partners with leaders and teams to design more effective decision-making processes, enhancing strategic clarity, strengthening alignment, and reducing the cognitive and organizational noise that undermines performance.

A member of the NAIS Coaches Collaborative and a frequent presenter at national and international conferences, he combines research, leadership experience, and coaching expertise into his work. He focuses on helping leaders build self-awareness, apply structured practices, and design decision-making systems that drive performance.
