Megan Roberts
Director of Education
Megan Roberts is the Director of Education at the Alliance for Decision Education and has over 25 years of experience in nonprofit leadership and teacher advocacy.
A former teacher, school, and district leader, Megan served as the Executive Director of the Office of Innovation for NYC Public Schools during the Bloomberg administration. She then spent several years as the Executive Director of the nonprofit Math for America before moving into Edtech to serve as the CEO of The Assistments Foundation and Desmos, as Vice President of Education & Programs. Megan is a staunch advocate of teachers and is passionate about ideas, processes, and programs that foster equity and access for both teachers and students.
Megan holds an Ed.D. in Science Education, a M.A. in Secondary Education, and a B.S. in Structural Geology. She serves on the Board of Directors for the National Science & Technology Medals Foundation and the Advisory Board for the Science Teacher Research Fellowship at Columbia University. Her publications, articles and speaking engagements focus on topics in STEM, teacher professional development, educational technology and innovation in education.
Outside of work, Megan is a dedicated wife, parent, coffee drinker, and amateur poker player.
