Karina Hernandez

Karina Hernandez currently serves as an Education Associate for the Alliance, bringing with her over 8 years of experience in education. Prior to this role, she served as the Director of Programming for the Academic Success Program, a Dallas-based nonprofit, where she helped more than 4,000 disadvantaged high school seniors in the Dallas area go to college every year.

Karina received her bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania in 2014.

When she’s not advocating for student equity, Karina likes to spend her time traveling, playing Boggle, reading science fiction novels, and trekking National State Parks with her dog, Banjo
