Jordan Stephens

Controller, Intel Corporation

This rising generation faces unprecedented opportunities and challenges. Perhaps that can be said of each successive generation, but I see in the lives of my own kids a rapidly changing flood of choices and information (which oddly seems to increase, not decrease, uncertainty). At the same time, over the last several decades there have been unprecedented advancements in our understanding of how to make better decisions–much of which is not as widely known and taught as it could be or should be. We have the great opportunity with better Decision Education to equip students today with thinking and tools necessary not just to overcome the challenges of our time but to make an even better future–for themselves, their families, businesses, and society.

Jordan Stephens joined Intel’s Center for Decision Leadership (CDL) in 2012 and has dedicated his career to learning about and improving decision-making. Jordan has served as a facilitator on numerous decisions across Intel and as an instructor for hundreds of Intel employees. Jordan mentors CDL team members in helping executives and their staff make complex decisions and build greater decision-making competency. He also develops curriculum and software tools to help Intel employees learn and apply good decision-making principles and practices.

Having joined Intel in 2004, Jordan worked in several finance roles, primarily focused on strategy development and analysis. Jordan previously worked as a North Korea media analyst for the Central Intelligence Agency. He holds degrees in International Relations and Korean from Brigham Young University and an M.B.A. from London Business School. A native of rural Nevada, Jordan now resides in Queen Creek, Arizona with his wife and two children.
