Jenny Grant Rankin, Ph.D.

Not only can Decision Education better position students for successful lives, but it can also help them navigate the rapidly changing landscape of news, tools, and opportunities so they can spot truth amid misinformation and disinformation, understand mental pitfalls in both themselves and others, forge collaboration amid polarization, and make hard choices in the best interest of society.

Dr. Jenny Grant Rankin is an author, education columnist, and speaker. She has written 14 books for educators and writes an education column for Psychology Today. A former Fulbright Specialist for the US Department of State, she taught at the University of Cambridge, Columbia University, and federal agencies, like the US Department of Education. She holds a Ph.D. in Education.

Dr. Rankin has served in higher education, as well as in public education as an award-winning K-12 teacher, assistant principal, and school district administrator. She was also a chief education & research officer of Illuminate Education. She keynotes education conferences, and also speaks at mainstream venues like TED and International Comic-Con.

Dr. Rankin is one of the founding members of American Mensa’s Diversity Committee, and was the Coordinator of Mensa’s Gifted Youth Program in her region. She won Teacher of the Year, was honored by the White House, and watched the American flag flown over the US Capitol Building in honor of her dedication to students.
