Ivory D. Hills, Ph.D.
Head of School at St. Mark's School, Southborough
I am hopeful that if we can build a shared vocabulary and approach to decision-making, we will collectively discover that we generally want similar outcomes. This should enable us to be more productive in our joint work and address many of the puzzles that have and continue to emerge in society.
Ivory Hills is the Head of School at St. Mark’s School in Southborough. He started in the independent school world as a chemistry teacher in 2011, and prior to that, was a research scientist in the pharmaceutical industry for over half a decade. While he holds a Ph.D. in organic chemistry from MIT, his love of molecules is rivaled by his love of trying to understand how to improve individual and organizational decision-making. Ivory believes that structured decision-making is a framework that will allow all of us to be more effective at achieving our collective goals.
