Ayisha Irfan is a social change and public policy professional with 14+ years of experience in legislative advocacy, community organizing, and policy analysis. She has led successful equity-oriented issue-based campaigns on education, criminal justice, immigration, and police reform.

As the Lead for Product Strategy, Strategic Response and Emerging Regulation at Google, she works product leaders, engineers and government stakeholders to build the technical tools necessary for compliance with global regulations.

In addition to her policy work, Ayisha is also the co-founder of the Muslim Writers Collective, a grassroots initiative that empowers Muslim voices through storytelling and was credited by Vice as a “space for young Muslims to honor their humanity.”

She holds a master’s degree in Policy and Applied Statistics from New York University and a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Brooklyn College.
