Avi's passion for decision education stems from her background in the consumer and health sectors, where she is drawn to improving purchasing decisions and food/nutrition choices for optimized health, sustainability, equity, and value. In her tenure as strategy and analytics consultant, Avi's work in the retail/consumer products and healthcare industries has included global dietary sustainability strategy, CPG pricing/profitability and trade/promotion analysis and distribution transformation, public health innovation strategy and financial performance management, healthcare pharmacy benefit M&A, enterprise data modeling, food safety analytics, and machine learning.
Outside of consulting, Avi has conducted a market development study for alternative proteins in China, initiated product/market fit consumer research in the supplements category, developed functional food products for global CPGs, managed obesity prevention research grants, and investigated health properties of cocoa, garlic, and protein. Avi holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and Food Science from NC State University and a Credential of Business Readiness from Harvard Business School Online. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, singing in community choirs, running, dancing, and serving for mental health, homelessness, and refugee causes.
