Adele Langton is a legal, government, and finance professional with two decades of experience spanning Australia and the United States. Adele has advised business and political leaders on policy and strategy, effectively driving landmark reforms focused on economic growth and improving community outcomes.
Most recently working on Goldman Sachs’ corporate philanthropy work in New York City, Adele led global initiatives across a $10 billion portfolio of programs and impact investing, addressing financial inclusion, entrepreneurship, education, and racial equity.
Prior to her time at Goldman Sachs, Adele worked in Washington D.C as a country lead for an Australian-American consultancy firm. Before moving to the United States, Adele spent almost a decade working as the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Australian Attorney General and Minister for Home Affairs. During this period, Adele advised senior Cabinet ministers on human rights and federal law reform. Adele previously served as a senior lawyer for the Australian Government and for nonprofit organizations in both Australia and the United States.
Adele holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Sydney, Australia and is the recipient of a United Nations Women Scholarship for a Master’s of Business Administration at the University of Sydney Business School.
