Driving Change—Together
The Decision Education Advocates Program brings together volunteers from diverse backgrounds—including business professionals, former educators, parents, grandparents, college students, and more—who are passionate about advancing Decision Education in K-12 classrooms.
What do Decision Education Advocates Do?
DE Advocates participate in monthly meetings that include learning, discussion, and actions. During meetings, DE Advocates explore Decision Education topics, hear from guest speakers, and network with other DE Advocates, all while strengthening their own decision-making skills and gaining insights they can apply in their personal lives, with their families, and at work.
Most importantly, each monthly meeting includes optional actions DE Advocates can support to help bring Decision Education into classrooms. These may include sharing opportunities with their network, connecting the Alliance with business leaders, schools, organizations, or policymakers, voting for conference proposals, or creating and amplifying content about Decision Education. DE Advocates can contribute in different ways based on their interests, experiences, and networks, and can also attend additional events and conferences.
