Kansas City Public Schools to Launch District-wide College and Career Decision Program

September 17, 2025

Kansas City Public Schools is rolling out a new program this school year aimed at teaching students how to navigate one of the biggest — and most expensive — choices of their lives

The Alliance for Decision Education was featured on KSHB 41 NBC in Kansas City, MO. The network aired a segment on how our recently awarded Kauffman Foundation grant is allowing the Alliance to expand our College and Career Decision-Making Incubator throughout Kansas City public schools. The segment features interviews teachers from one of our first Incubator schools, Lincoln College Preparatory Academy, as well as students who discuss how Decision Education and learning decision-making skills prepares them for making decisions about their post-graduation plans. We’re thrilled to share how Decision Education is supporting students, both now and into their futures.
